Dr. Giovanna Tagliabue

Epidemiologist, she leads the Research Unit focused on epidemiological studies in cancer surveillance and prevention. Her work aims to identify significant health events and develop innovative methodological approaches, drawing on data sources such as population-based cancer registries, healthcare cohorts, and clinical databases. 

As a Principal Investigator (PI), she is involved in research projects on: 

• cancer and cancer-related infections, 
• fertility in women with cancer, 
• methodological studies on data quality and cancer registration. 

Her research contributes to improving the understanding of cancer-related health issues and enhancing strategies for prevention and monitoring at the population level.
